And away we go!
Yesterday we started test roasting Grimpeur Bros. coffee. It was a big day for us. And today and the rest of the week will be too. Years of conversation and noodling and thinking and some more noodling are quickly becoming a reality.
To say we are excited is an understatement. Grimpeur Bros. Specialty Coffee combines two of our passions - cycling and coffee. You don’t often get to “play” with your passions like that when building a business.
Like all startups it’s a scary and risky roller coaster that’s also incredibly rewarding. We are testing real life operations, production, logistics this week and then next week we go live. Fingers and toes are crossed.
Nigel took the photos above while we prototype testing our labels. Ladera Norte is one of our launch single origin coffees. We’ll post more info on each of our Grimpeur Bros. launch coffees starting tomorrow. WOOT!
