#Mavic #Ksyrium #Elite Wheel Suckage ~ So on yesterday’s ride I dropped a chain on a climb #SchleckStyle. Stopped & noticed that the slight rear wheel true had become a lil’ worse so I changed my route & headed to AustinBikes for a quick true. Toshi got my rear wheel up on the stand & immediately called me over (#NeverAGoodSign) - He showed me a cracked spoke nipple - we looked closer at the wheel & about 80% of the nipples were cracked - one was even sheared in half!!! Toshi asked if I had been riding off road in the Greenbelt or in rough conditions ~ Told him that I had been climbing but nothing out of the ordinary ~ He joked I should lay off the EPO as it looked like I torqued the hell out of the wheel ~ Doubtful the wheel can be rebuilt so talking options w/Sol Monday morning ~ Weird thing is these wheels have been #ROCKSolid until now #meh ~ $$$$$$ #WheelFail #cycling #bikeatx (Taken with Instagram at Austin Bikes)
